Spring Mee!

Magazine for healthy childcare in Zuid-Limburg

Let’s break the trend together

Research shows that South Limburg is struggling with a health disadvantage. GGD Zuid-Limburg and other partners of the ‘Trend Break’ programme want to break this trend by tackling the problem among the youngest residents. We do this by inspiring and informing pedagogical staff at daycare centers in that region with the magazine Spring me!

From idea to colorful creation

In the magazine formula, we defined the foundations: the objectives and target groups, as well as the tone of voice, language style, and visual identity. The name Spring mee! fits perfectly — its playful, colourful, and optimistic, just like the world of children. We designed the magazine in line with the recognisable corporate identity of Trendbreuk. The articles are organised into categories, ranging from visual pieces with minimal text to in-depth interview pages. These were all outlined in the magazine formula as a guide for the copywriter and photographer. The result is a magazine that invites you to read it.

We have now developed two editions of Spring mee!: one focusing on healthy food and one on exercise.

“It was great to see how our ideas came to life and have grown into a beautiful, inspiring magazine with two successful editions”

– Madelon, communications employee at GGD Zuid-Limburg
Interaction with readers

The first two editions of Spring mee! have been distributed to 1,200 addresses. In the first edition, we invited readers to submit their own recipes. The GGD received dozens of recipes and many positive responses about the publications.
